Gemini Mountain Territory Support Specialist

Position Summary:

The Territory Specialist position is primarily responsible for working with assigned Sales Distributors to ensure product and instrument sets are transferred to the appropriate territories to complete the scheduled case. This includes communicating with Sales Distributors and other members of the Operations Team, utilizing Redspot to plan for future cases, working with Sales Distributor to ensure shipment of sterile implants and instrument sets are shipped in a timely manner, and that sets are promptly returned after each case.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Handles all incoming sales distributor calls including transportation, tracking and order filling, call   status tracking, entering new orders, return request, modifying existing orders and handling all general inquiries.
  • Creates and coordinates orders daily within Redspot for scheduling of planned cases 2 days in advance. Look at cases 3 and 4 days in advance in order to plan return requests to fulfill orders.
  • Selects the appropriate shipping method for shipping instrument sets and white box inventory to fulfill the case and minimize freight cost.
  • Works with warehouse team to periodically audit inventory within the warehouse and territories.
  • Administers Standard Operating Procedure for properly transferring, scanning in/out sets, and implants to the appropriate territories and Sales Distributor.
  • Accurately and promptly enters inventory order and completes in compliance with the Standard Operating Procedure.
  • Ensures that all returned sets are filled to par, not missing products, and follow up with Sales Distributors if any discrepancies are noticed.
  • Receives any inventory and ensures that products are stocked in the correct location.
  • Updates, populates, maintains and assist developing Standard Operating Procedure binder to maximize customer service, efficiency, satisfaction and training.
  • Works with manager to develop, roll out, and maintain initiatives.
  • Maintains rapport with territory sales distributors, helps with problem solving and execution of case load management.
  • Responsible to basic housekeeping and administrative duties to help maintain facility cleanliness and order.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.

Knowledge and Skill

  • Bachelor Degree in Operations or similar experience preferred
  • Experience in inventory, distribution and operational procedure preferred
  • Demonstrated Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word skills
  • Solid organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects tasks simultaneously
  • Demonstrated attention to detail
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and direction in a dynamic work environment
  • Shows initiative – regularly engages in proactive behavior and looks for opportunities
  • Strong ability to facilitate a collaborative working environment for customers and team members
